The drain lines under this Port Neches home had failed along the full length of the house. Instead of breaking up the slab, a tunnel of about 50 feet ran underneath the foundation and our crew replaced the entire failed drain system with new PVC from below. The new lines were hung on all-thread supports, checked for proper fall so everything drains the way it should, and then the tunnel was backfilled. Tunneling keeps the work outside the living space, so the floors, cabinets and finishes inside the home stay as they were. If you are seeing slow drains, damp spots or sewer smells in an older slab home, it is worth having the lines looked at before the problem spreads.

What was wrong

Failed under-slab drain lines across the length of a Port Neches home.

How we fixed it

A 50-foot tunnel under the foundation, then a full re-pipe of the drain lines in new PVC on all-thread supports.
