Ask when you call

Discounts for Seniors, Veterans, First Responders & Teachers

A thank you to the people who look after everybody else. Ask about our discount when you call and we will work it into your estimate up front.

How it works

Tell us which group you belong to when you call (409) 217-9371 or when you request an estimate online. The discount goes into your written estimate up front, so there is nothing to argue about at the end of the job. Seniors: same deal, just say so.

Teachers & School Staff

For the people who run our schools

Who qualifies: Teachers, aides, coaches, counselors, office and cafeteria staff, bus drivers and custodians at any Southeast Texas campus, public or private, plus Lamar University and LIT staff.
Why it matters to us: Porter's sponsors the Port Neches-Groves football broadcasts on Cool 92.5 on Friday nights, and you will find our trucks at Groves National Little League. Schools are where this company shows up.
How to get it: Say “teacher discount” when you call and have your school ID or badge handy.

Veterans & Military

For everyone who served

Who qualifies: Veterans of every branch, active duty, National Guard and Reserve, and military spouses.
Why it matters to us: When Harvey put Beaumont and Port Arthur under water, Guard units from a dozen states worked out of our towns for weeks. Southeast Texas does not forget that, and neither do we.
How to get it: Mention your service when you call. A VA card, DD-214 or military ID is all we need to see.

For the ones who answer the call

Who qualifies: Police officers and sheriff's deputies, career and volunteer firefighters, EMS and paramedics, 911 dispatchers and corrections officers, active or retired.
Why it matters to us: Beaumont Police, Beaumont Fire-Rescue, the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office, the Port Arthur, Port Neches, Groves, Nederland and Orange departments, Hardin County, and every volunteer fire department in between. If you answer a page at 2 a.m., this is for you.
How to get it: Tell us your department when you call and show a department ID at the door.
